Homemade Chicken 65 Recipe

Chicken 65 recipe

 Ingredients:

• Chicken- 500 g (boneless is used generally but I've used with bone here. Both are okay)

• Ginger garlic paste - 4 tsp

• Chilly powder- 2 to 3 tsp

• Coriander powder- 2 tbsp

• Garam masala- 2 tsp

• Corn flour- 4 tbsp

• Rice flour - 2 tbsp

• Lemon juice- 4 tsp

• Egg- 1

• Ginger garlic paste- 3 tsp

• Salt as per taste

• Oil for frying

☆For the coating preparation-

• Oil - 2 tbsp

• Cumin seeds- 1 tsp

• Curry leaves- 3 or 4

• Chilly sauce/Sauce- 2 or 3 tbsp

• Soya sauce

• Garlic- 2 or 3

• Green chillies - 3-4

• Dried Red chillies- 2

PREPARATION-

1. Take the cleaned chicken and add in all the masalas starting with chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste and salt. Now stir in this well. Then add in lemon juice.

2. Break open an egg in a separate bowl and beat it well for a few minutes. Then add it into the chicken and mix it well until its coated well.

3. Now keep this marinade closed for 15-20 min. Don't leave it for long as it will give out water and its masala.

4. After the marination time, take a frying pan and add in enough oil to fry the chicken pieces. Keep stirring it and make sure to fry properly until cooked well.

5. After frying keep in a plate with tissue in it to absorb the excess oil.

6. Now we're going to make the sauce. Its tasty even without it. :) So for the sauce, we need to take a large frying pan and add in 1 tbsp of oil and cumin seeds.

Note: Make sure the oil is hot or else the cumin will just lie there :D

7. Once the cumin seeds splutter, add in chopped garlic and fry these two well. Then add in curry leaves, chillies, dried chillies and fry it well.

8. Now add in around 2-3 spoons of chilly sauce/ regular sauce and mix well. Add in 1 tsp of soya sauce.

9. Sprinkle a little water into this mix and let it boil. Once the bubbles starts to form its time to add in the fried chicken.

10. Now we have to be quick to mix the chicken and coat it properly in the sauce. Don't be hasty or else the chicken pieces would break open ^.^

11. Stir the pieces carefully in the pan for about 5-7 minutes. Make sure all the masala is coated on the chicken well.

Switch off the flame. Do not overcook as it is already fried once.

Now serve it hot along with roti/rice. Enjoy the homemade style chicken 65 :)
